These snickerdoodles were PERFECT. Fluffy and moist. I used a duck egg. Be sure to buy a brand new box of baking soda which will help keep them from deflating. Recipe I used as guide at link.
This is coconut milk ice cream. Man - with creamy plant based milks, creams and treats like this available, we really don't need to be consuming so much cow milk dairy all the time!! Try switching it up. More thoughts on this at link.
What a delicious spring / summer cake. It was deliciously moist and so beautiful! Organic everything. I used butter and eggs but subbed in almond milk buttermilk and plant-based cream cheese for frosting.
So fresh and bright with the flavors! Roll your berries in flour before folding in to batter to control their color bleeding throughout entire cake! Basil or mint from your garden and a little lemon zest is a beautiful way to decorate.
All hail Emporium Pie's Cloud 9 Pie. There is no other pie once you've tasted this bad boy. Housemade caramel is oozing out on the bottom there. Somehow, it never makes the crust soggy. Oh and there's butterscotch custard and brown sugar meringue.
Chocolate Chili dessert at a Frank Underground Dinner. With chocolate ants on the plate! So good.
When I need to use up berries, I have been known to make a moist berry cake. I halve the recipe to make a smaller cake but PILE in the berries. This one has organic blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. I also used a duck egg (instead of chicken), whole wheat flour (instead of white), coconut oil (instead of butter).
From True Food Kitchen. I subbed the dairy ice cream for the vegan pistachio. Which they make there. This place has the freshest, freshest food. They make almost everything from scratch, in house.
The best vegan cake I've had in Dallas. Don't notice the absence of egg. Plus, um, all that chocolate. And vegan marshmallow! A super treat. √

I crave a spot of dark chocolate pretty much daily. This is a little spattering of dark choc chips w 5 broken up pecans. Put 'em in oven on warm for a few mins. Then sea salt flaked. Tastes indulgent all melty!
• Almond Dream almond milk coconut yogurt • Diced organic Fuji apple • Crushed pecans toasted with sea salt and sugar • Sprinkle of spicy hot cocoa powder! Simple, light, satisfied the sweet tooth.
Just love making single serving cakes when I get a dessert craving. I google a recipe, adapt with what I have. Generally sub coconut oil for butter. And use WAY less of it. Like if a recipe called for a stick and I'm halving the recipe, I use like a tablespoon of fat, instead of 4 times that. Nut milk when it calls for "milk." Etc. Play.
