SNACKS Midday. Midnight. Munchies. Appetizers. Party Snacks. Do it right.

This is a kids meal from Nature's Plate. Super delicious and healthy. Can be a substantial scack or small meal.

Found in the bin at Sprouts. Goes great with scotch. ;)

Popping fruit is always a great snack. These figs were ridiculous. Just picked. Succulent but firm. Juicy and POW flavor. I shared them with NO ONE. NO ONE!!! ;)

I actually ate this for dinner recently. After a big luck.

Obsessed. From Green Grocer in Dallas. Kale, spinach, matcha, mint, coconut water, honey. YES.

The grilled artichokes at Stock & Barrel are outta sight.

Oh the season is short, so don't miss out each summer! In season cherries are so so good. If you think you don't like cherries - try some in-season organics. Plump, sweet, firm. Just a real treat.

Loved by kids. And adults. Any time, any place.

Came across a vegan salad recipe with some of these ingredients + modified for a handheld appetizer! • Local Watermelon - cut, de-seed and toss in olive oil, balsamic, lemon juice • Cilantro • Fresh Jalapeño Stack a chunk of melon, top with cilantro leave(s), jalapeño slice + spear w. toothpick. Sprinkle with sea salt (I used lavender sea salt). I also sprinkled with a tiny bit of sugar b/c melon was not as sweet as I hoped. A hit in looks + flavor!

You can't go wrong with downing juiced nutrients for a snack. And I also like to grab one to have as a "cocktail" at night. When I cook, I always feel the need to be sipping on something. Subbing this for alcohol means nutrients instead of sugar. In Dallas, Green Grocer (see link) has a juice Happy Hour mon-thur from 5-7pm. You can grab a made-to-order, organic, fresh fruit & veggie juice for half off. Whole Foods also makes them to order at a good price.

On my train from Brussels to Paris, we got to pick whatever we wanted from the snack cart. I chose : pasta, rhubarb muffin and vin blanc (white wine). Dreamy!!

Love the cheeky name on this. Whole Foods, Roots Juices and tons of others make fresh squeezed juices of various fruit & veggie combos, then bottle them and toss them in a fridge. An awesome on-the-go snack or meal replacement.

A great little green salad from Times Ten Cellars. Lots of roughage greens, fennel, candied pecans and a house made white wine vinaigrette. Perfect. $5.50.

If you are ever on the run in Mockingbird Station and need a super fast snack of veggies, this will do. Flash fried carrots and green beans. Super greasy but *slightly* better than fries. ;)

This very delicious bowl of blistered shishito peppers is half price at Lounge 31's weekly happy hour. Lounge 31 is upstairs from Bistro 31 in Highland Park Village. I love all peppers, pretty much. These poppers are vegan and yummy. Great snack. They also have half price sushi rolls, sake and a really delicious cucumber and seaweed salad.

Wow this is good. Vegan - sweetness from asian orange. Very nice, clean and balanced. Also on the Lounge 31 Happy Hour. $8 regular / $4 happy hour. Sweet!!

I grabbed this at Green Grocer when picking up a happy hour juice (M-TH 5to7 = 1/2 price fresh made juices!). Great alternative to cow milk versions - not as heavy, just as tasty. All organic: cashews, spinach, lemon, nutritional yeast, apple cider vin, water, s&p. Eating w Mary's Gone Crackers (onion flavor!!) and organic fuji apple.

A salty, greasy bar snack that's *just* a little bit better for you since seaweed is packed with nutrients. Had these at Tei Tei Robata on Henderson Ave. $3. Goes great with sake!
