Have been putting fresh-picked basil in EVERYTHING. So fragrant. Can be used as you would any green. An herb salad is something special.

Grown from seed in my backyard garden! Fab summer veggie. Loves the heat, very delicious, nutritious and beautiful.

These are basically weeds up in Ontario. But so pretty and tasty, too. I made a salad with them. We ate them all up!!

I bought this at Evergreen Brickworks Farmers Market in Toronto. A basic green that comes in the form of a beautiful plant. Feast for the eyes.

This was a rogue plant at Plan B Organic Farm near Hamilton, just outside of Toronto Ontario. So healthy and beautiful. The summer weather up there is amazing for growing. So perfect. Beautiful bounty.

An ancient heirloom wheat from Ontario, red fife is getting a renewed life up in Canada. Supposedly easier to tolerate for those with gluten sensitivity.

A very green haul from White Rock Local Market

3 local pastured eggs, local organic sweet potato and from my garden : kale, micro radishes, onion chives and lovage.

When my radishes were ready in my garden, I looked for ways to use every part of them. This is a crispy radish green a la crispy kale. Just use much less heat because they are not as fibrous as kale - otherwise - DO THIS!!

Local garlic chives. Organic avocado. Lemon. Lovely!

Look at that giant squash! It's a big ol' yellow zucchini. Hit the DINNERS at link to see how I used it.
